Introduction
Sliding doors in Keysborough are the easiest way to enter a room and they are also extremely easy to open. However, they can be quite problematic if you do not know how to do it properly. If your sliding door is stuck or broken, then it will be difficult for you to open it even if you have all the right tools and materials at hand.
- Get a screwdriver
The first thing you need to do is get the screwdriver. You must choose the right-sized screwdriver and insert it in the hole on your door handle. Give it a good twist until you manage to pop out the cap that is covering the screw.
The screw will be exposed, and then all you need to do is remove it.
- Twist and turn the screwdriver properly
You should be able to find a space where there are no other pieces of furniture blocking your view of the door handle and its surrounding area. This will allow you to see what kind of screws are holding everything together and how they are connected by looking closely at their placement within the door itself (and not just on top).
Once again, make sure that whatever tool(s) that were used during installation are available so there will not be any delays later down in case anything needs adjusting once everything has been removed from inside of this part before putting back together again!
- Take off the plastic cover by pulling on its side. Once you manage to remove it; put it aside.
Turn the handle counterclockwise (to the left) and pull on it.
Now, you can access the locking mechanism of your sliding door. Take out this lock mechanism by pulling it out of its place or unscrewing it.
- Locate the metal clip of your sliding door
Find the metal clip and push it down towards yourself so that you can take off its cover. Once you have done that, take out the cover so you can access your door handle’s locking mechanism. After that, remove the lock mechanism too and then put everything aside.
To locate the metal clip of your sliding door, you need to look at its bottom part. Once you have found it, push it down towards yourself so that you can take off its cover. Once you have done that, take out the cover so you can access your door handle’s locking mechanism. After that, remove the lock mechanism too and then put everything aside.
Now all we have left is to replace our broken handle with a new one!
- Its time to open the door
When all these parts are gone, you should be able to open your Sliding doors Keysborough easily with your hands. If not, here are some things that can help:
- Use a screwdriver or small metal pieces and put them between the track and the frame to create a gap big enough for you to fit in.
- If that does not work, keep trying until it does. Just keep going until it works!
If those fail…
Take an oversized spoon (or similar object) and jam it into place where the handle used to attach. This may take time but eventually something will break or bend so that it just barely works well enough for you to get inside without any problem whatsoever!
